SS GEAR BOX

Gear box back from reconditioning. Once again the L comes up 11 month 1972.
This box was manufactured on the 13/11/1972 well at lest that is what the numbers and letter say. American layout with the month first.
Also the side of the box has a number as well.( Both on the main casting)
T439477 is on the end closest to the diff.

Hose clamps Radiator

Here is a set of original radiator clamps. These do upper and lower on Aussie V8.
They have the part number stamped on them (SP 1572). This number corresponds with the genuine holden number in the parts book.
There are finished in gold or rainbow zinc. The screw is in silver zinc.
They also have a straight blade screw slot.
Detail of the heater hose clamps will follow.

Oil pressure sender



Oil pressure sender.
One thing I am noticing is that electrical parts seen to run further behind in time of manufacture than mechanical parts.
This sender was produced 10/1972
roughly 8 weeks prier to the cars assembly. 12/1072

Dipper switch sealer on floor pan.

Here is a image of the sealer (chalking compound ) used on the screws that mount the dipper switch to the floor pan.
This is another area if not finished correctly will let water into the car.
Also take note of the firewall and floor pan colour they are not black.
This is a genuine HQ untouched 10/73
